Explore our advanced training courses designed to enhance law enforcement’s tactical strategies.
Tactical Aprehension Program (T.A.P.) Level 1
Bishop One’s T.A.P. course reframes the conventional default to structure-based operations. Rather than entering environments where suspects hold unknown advantages, we reverse the dynamic—shaping the area of apprehension to our terms.
Trapdoor Tactics™ centers on drawing threats into controlled environments—spaces we create, manipulate, and command—allowing teams to initiate action with precision timing and superior tactics. The course will teach students to merge Open-Area Apprehensions, Vehicle Containment Techniques, Environmental Manipulation, and Sensory Disruption into a highly mobile package used to rapidly de-escalate encounters during the apprehension of violent offenders.
Bishop One’s goal is to equip your personnel with the tools necessary to effectively apply tactics to enhance your team’s performance while lowering the need for force applications, community disruption, and possible critical incidents. Reach out and discover how we can tailor our program to align with your specific mission profile and goals.

Team and Tactics Development
As professionals, we have an obligation to our organizations and communities to critically assess our operations. When this is done solely from within, it often creates a closed loop—repeating the same patterns and stalling progress.
Bishop One’s consulting process evaluates current team practices against elevated standards rooted in safety, community impact, and professionalism. Through the application of the “Why Here, Why Now?” risk assessment framework, teams are pushed to raise the bar in training rigor, mission execution, and internal communication. Sustained excellence requires deliberate refinement, thorough documentation, and full accountability.
For high-performance teams, the standard of “elite” must never be assumed—it must be earned, and constantly advanced.
This course will be an extension of the T.A.P. Level 1 and will contain live fire scenarios. Attendance of the T.A.P. Level 1 course within the previous six months will be a pre-requisite.
